Updated March 2009: Funnyman Vince Vaughn, 38, is now engaged to Canadian gal pal Kyla Weber, a 29-year-old real estate agent from Calgary, according to the Montreal Gazette which interviewed the bride-to-be's father. The "Wedding Crashers" star reportedly got down on one knee and popped the question with a $125,000, four-carat diamond ring on Valentine's Day.

He proposed in a private plane filled with white roses and champagne. Brady asked Ms Bundchen the question with her parents in attendance. July 2010 -- Will it last through the summer? -- American pop music star Katy Perry and British comedian Russell Brand became engaged in late 2009, so that is not news. Ms Perry recently explained that she sent Russell Brand telepathic, subliminal messages in order to achieve her engagement to him. The 'California Gurls' singer now tells the world that she constantly communicated to Brand telepathically placing the idea of asking him to ask the marriage question in his mind.

"Every night we looked into each other's eyes and I was thinking, 'Please ask me, please ask me'," she announced. "So all the time we'd been sending each other subliminal messages!," said Perry.
