Update: Wedding Date Set for Jan 10, 2009 - November 2008 - American pop singer Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel have started to plan their wedding for the summer of 2009. Since becoming engaged, the popular engaged couple were content to be just that -- an engaged couple. Until recently, Ms Fergie had not begun wedding plans in earnest. In the fall of 2008, she began to interview wedding planners and began to work with legendary Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld on her wedding dress.

November 2008 - Former child star and American actor Corey Haim announces his engagement to B-movie fright actress, Tiffany Shepis. The couple plan a May 2009 wedding -- if they last that long. They met a dozen years ago on the set of a movie, Fever Lake. They met again most recently at the Chiller Theatre convention in New Jersey.

November 2008 - If the engagement of Ashley Olsen to American actor Justin Bartha is a rumor, then it's the most well defined rumor that has come down through the celebrity rumor mill in a long time! Here is what is out there: first, there's the mere engagement and then there are all the specifics detailing the wedding plans. brady with giselle bundchen January 2009 - [Updated from earlier entry December 2008] - Injured NFL quarterback Tom Brady proposed marriage to his girlfriend of two years, internationally known fashion model Giselle Bundchen on Christmas eve 2008. He proposed in a private plane filled with white roses and champagne. Brady asked Ms Bundchen the question with her parents in attendance. Mr Brady, who is 31-years old, proposed after their jet took off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on a flight bound for Boston. He had to act quickly, that is a quarterback under the time pressure of a short flight. Ms Bundchen's parents are Vania and Valdir Bundchen. Exact wedding ceremony plans have not been announced. Press speculation ranges from NYC (unlikely) to Costa Rica where Ms Bundchen owns a vacation home (makes much more sense). Updated: This story may be a rumor, stay tuned.
