Fall 2008 - The producers of the original movie starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey, "The Wedding Planner" announced they will produce a sequel to the successful 2001 film. No details have been released regarding the stars of the film, but Madonna will be one of the producers. Odd since in the same week as this announcement, Madonna announced her divorce from Guy Ritchie. The first movie starred JLo as Maria Mary Fiore as the wedding planner and Mr McConaughey as Dr Steve Edison (the groom for whom she is planning the wedding).

Fall 2008 - American football NFL star quarterback Mr Tom Brady is likely to marry his longtime girlfriend, international fashion model Gisele Bundchen in late 2008. Initial whispers are the wedding will be held at New York City's Tavern on the Green restaurant located in Central Park in Manhattan.

October 2008 - Canadian born pop singer Nelly Furtado was married in July 2008 and managed to keep the wedding a secret from the media until the following October. The groom is sound engineer Demacio Catellonin. The wedding took place in a private ceremony. Oddly, she sang of fear of commitment in her hit song, 'I'm Like a Bird'. She is also known for other hits, ‘Promiscuous’ and ‘Maneater’. She met her new husband while working on her album ‘Loose’. Any celebrity who gets married and keeps it from the press, congratulations on both fronts!

February 2012: American actress, Scarlet Johannson, divorced actor Ryan Reynolds during 2011. Yet, in an interview in late 2011, Ms Johansson stated she has no regrets about the failed marriage. The couple was together for two years. She said, "It was the best thing I ever did. I'm a big believer in instinct. Getting married was the right thing to do because it was natural."

"It grew out of romance and love and a desire to have a future with somebody, and I was very fortunate that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be," Ms Johansson added.
