September 2008 - Hollywood - Newlyweds Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi recently divulged that they turned down offers from singers George Michael and Justin Timberlake to sing at their summer wedding.

Instead they chose to have Joshua Radin, a little known singer, perform. Justin Timberlake even offered to write a new song just for the ladies! Imagine turning that down! Mr Justin Timberlake offers to write you a song for your wedding and you turn them down! Wow!

Fall 2008 - American actress Mena Suvari is engaged to music producer Simone Sestito. Her fiance is a talented guy -- he is the designer of her engagement ring! And it is a beautiful engagement ring! She will be wearing it for a long time as the couple is in no rush to take the walk down the aisle in marriage. Suvari drew fame when she played the desirable siren in the film American Beauty, which also starred Kevin Spacey and Annette Bening. Mena is well connnected in the design department as well; her friend Stacy is a fashion designer working for Alice Olivia. Stacy has agreed to design a wedding dress for Ms Suvari. The couple is expected to marry in Italy in 2009.
