Fall 2008 - It could very well be that American actors Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal plan to wed in late 2008. Mr Gyllenhaal will celebrate his birthday in December and the Hollywood couple may be planning to marry on or near that date. It's been rumoured Mr Gyllenhaal has been ready to marry for some time but that Witherspoon has been keen to take it more slowly. He moved into her home and from all accounts, is very generous and kind to her children with former husband, Ryan Phillippe.

Fall 2008 - Pop tart princess and new mother Jamie Lynn Spears is in no hurry to marry anyone -- and that includes the father of her newborn baby. American actress Jamie Lynn Spears is one of the stars of the television series Zoey 101. Casey Aldridge is the father of her first child. The couple considered marrying before the birth of the child but tensions between the young parents reportedly were too high to continue with wedding plans.

September 2008 - Hollywood - Newlyweds Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi recently divulged that they turned down offers from singers George Michael and Justin Timberlake to sing at their summer wedding.

Instead they chose to have Joshua Radin, a little known singer, perform. Justin Timberlake even offered to write a new song just for the ladies! Imagine turning that down! Mr Justin Timberlake offers to write you a song for your wedding and you turn them down! Wow!
