Fall 2008 - American actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiance Ross McCall have talked about the details of their upcoming wedding here and there, but have yet to set anything in stone. Ms Love Hewitt hosted the AIDS Project Los Angeles' annual Oscar viewing party at the Abbey, a West Hollywood gay bar in 2008. Her hit television show, The Ghost Whisperer was just picked up for an addiitional season so she is a little busy. Nov 2008 Update: Jennifer now has a wedding dress and describes it: “I have,” Hewitt confirmed. “It’s very simple. I was not one of those people that wanted like 900 buttons up the back and craziness. I was like, ‘Just zip me in it and call it a day.’”

The Hollywood photo hunters have been running themselves ragged since 2008 to find an opportunity to photograph Ms Conrad together with the man she is allegedly dating. Ms Conrad has become one of Hollywood's youngest moguls with a career in television and fashion. In 2008 she launched her own fashion line, she is a spokeswoman for Mark cosmetics and is creating her own line of hair accessories.

Fall 2008 - It could very well be that American actors Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal plan to wed in late 2008. Mr Gyllenhaal will celebrate his birthday in December and the Hollywood couple may be planning to marry on or near that date. It's been rumoured Mr Gyllenhaal has been ready to marry for some time but that Witherspoon has been keen to take it more slowly. He moved into her home and from all accounts, is very generous and kind to her children with former husband, Ryan Phillippe.

brady with giselle bundchen January 2009 - [Updated from earlier entry December 2008] - Injured NFL quarterback Tom Brady proposed marriage to his girlfriend of two years, internationally known fashion model Giselle Bundchen on Christmas eve 2008. He proposed in a private plane filled with white roses and champagne. Brady asked Ms Bundchen the question with her parents in attendance. Mr Brady, who is 31-years old, proposed after their jet took off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on a flight bound for Boston. He had to act quickly, that is a quarterback under the time pressure of a short flight. Ms Bundchen's parents are Vania and Valdir Bundchen. Exact wedding ceremony plans have not been announced. Press speculation ranges from NYC (unlikely) to Costa Rica where Ms Bundchen owns a vacation home (makes much more sense). Updated: This story may be a rumor, stay tuned.
