Fall 2008 - Professional tennis champion Andy Roddick and his model girlfriend Brooklyn Decker became officially engaged in 2008. The Grand Slam winner popped the question in early March 2008. The couple met in New York City in 2007. Ms Decker is a model who has appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Mr Roddick has spent the last decade as the best player on the professional tennis circuit and has enjoyed international celebrity as the cream of the crop of the tennis world.

Fall 2008 - One of the most handsome couples in all of Hollywood Celebrityland, Josh Duhamel and Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson plan to marry. Ms Ferguson is an American rock star and lead singer in the band Black Eyed Peas. She put out a set of her own recordings, a CD, an album, whatever, titled Fergielicious and it was a smash hit. Ferguson and Duhamel met when she and her band appeared on Duhamel's American television show Las Vegas. Duhamel has financial interests beyond acting; his restaurant 10 North Main, is located in his hometown, downtown Minot, North Dakota.

Fall 2008 - Ali Larter and her boyfriend, actor Hayes MacArthur, are officially set to marry. Larter says she knew MacArthur was the one from the very beginning. "I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow," the Heroes star remarked. Heroes is an American television series that became popular in 2006. Ms Lartner plans to have a family.

February 2012: American actress, Scarlet Johannson, divorced actor Ryan Reynolds during 2011. Yet, in an interview in late 2011, Ms Johansson stated she has no regrets about the failed marriage. The couple was together for two years. She said, "It was the best thing I ever did. I'm a big believer in instinct. Getting married was the right thing to do because it was natural."

"It grew out of romance and love and a desire to have a future with somebody, and I was very fortunate that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be," Ms Johansson added.
