She has become engaged to her multimillionaire boyfriend, Arpad 'Arki' Busson, after meeting in 2007 at a private dinner party in Milan, Italy. Their dating life was intercontinental. Busson is said to have proposed to Thurman with an 8-plus carat diamond ring. The couple will enjoy the company of four children between them. Thurman was formerly married to American actor Ethan Hawke. They will reside internationally.

Fall 2008 - American actress Carmen Electra and Rob Patterson are planning a wedding. Mr Patterson is the former touring guitarist for Korn, a grunge band. The rocker popped the question to the former Baywatch star in Las Vegas while celebrating Ms Electra's 36th birthday. The prospective groom offered her a black diamond engagement ring. "It's . . . perfect for us," Electra gushed. "Different – it's our style." The couple first met 8 years ago. They began to date in 2007. July 2010 -- Will it last through the summer? -- American pop music star Katy Perry and British comedian Russell Brand became engaged in late 2009, so that is not news. Ms Perry recently explained that she sent Russell Brand telepathic, subliminal messages in order to achieve her engagement to him. The 'California Gurls' singer now tells the world that she constantly communicated to Brand telepathically placing the idea of asking him to ask the marriage question in his mind.

"Every night we looked into each other's eyes and I was thinking, 'Please ask me, please ask me'," she announced. "So all the time we'd been sending each other subliminal messages!," said Perry.
