Fall 2008 - American pop and country singer Jessica Simpson and NFL Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo may be planning a winter wedding for the 2008 - 2009 season. They were discovered in Dallas some weeks earlier checking out engagement rings in a Neiman Marcus jewelry counter. Simpson is in the middle of a Do You Know promotional tour and Mr Romo is currently in the middle of the NFL American football season.

Fall 2008 - Howard Stern was married in New York City. The Beth Ostrosky marriage is his second. The wedding took place at Le Cirque Restaurant. Celebrity guest list included Barbara Walters, Billy Joel and wife Katie Lee, Joan Rivers, John Stamos, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman and Kelly Ripa, whose husband, Mark Consuelos officiated the ceremony. Billy Joel gave a surprise performance of “You’re My Home.”

Fall 2008 - The wedding of American actress Scarlett Johansson and Canadian born actor Ryan Reynolds eluded the press recently. The Canadian wedding location was not disclosed to the press and it appears that no press were able to find it. They and their friends took advantage of the wedding location by going salmon and halibut fishing while guests went horseback riding and mountain biking. The Johansson-Ryan newlyweds plan a larger celebration for those who did not attend.

February 2012: American actress, Scarlet Johannson, divorced actor Ryan Reynolds during 2011. Yet, in an interview in late 2011, Ms Johansson stated she has no regrets about the failed marriage. The couple was together for two years. She said, "It was the best thing I ever did. I'm a big believer in instinct. Getting married was the right thing to do because it was natural."

"It grew out of romance and love and a desire to have a future with somebody, and I was very fortunate that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be," Ms Johansson added.
