How about some alternative music choices to the tradtional wedding marches for up and down the aisle?

You know that "tradition" is just a guideline, an archive of what people did before you arrived. Your tradition begins the day you decide how you want your wedding to be. It does not have to have anything to do with the people who came before you and the decisions they made about their ceremony and reception.

Processionals and Recessionals
"Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin" (Richard Wagner) (also known as "Here Comes the Bride")
"Canon in D" (Johann Pachelbel)
"Guitar Concerto in D Major", Largo, (Antonio Vivaldi)
"Air" (from Water Music Suite), (George Frederic Handel)
"The Prince of Denmark's March" (Trumpet Voluntary in D major) (Jeremiah Clarke)
"Procession of Joy" (Hal Hopson)
"Rigaudon" (Andre Campra)
"Wedding March" (from The Marriage of Figaro), (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)
Prelude from "Te Deum" (Marc-Antoine Charpentier)
"Trumpet Tune and Air" (Henry Purcell)
"Trumpet Voluntary" (John Stanley)
Beautiful non-traditional bride looks so great, doesn't she?
If you don't want to walk up the aisle to 'Here Comes the Bride', you don't have to. If you want to walk down the aisle to some wild on rock tune, you can do that too! You may however have more limited choices if you get married in a church, temple or other religious location that has more traditional guidelines. Make sure you discuss everything with the church planner first!
