musical notes so colorful -- like you and your family!

Music organizers and library programs like itunes have given us regular old folk incredible control over our favorite music. Many couples reason: if I can create the ultimate party playlist for my party, why not for the reception?

While you can automate the music, you still have to start and stop the music at various times during the reception, so someone will have to be appointed to be the "ipod dj". You'll want to stop the music for the wedding toasts, the other speeches, the cutting of the cake, the throwing of the garter, etc.

If you do decide not to hire a live band or a professional DJ, you have to make sure that you program the ipod very carefully and you have to go over every detail with whoever you assign to be the "ipod deejay".
