Style RB00, Style RB99 • Black Ray Ban Style Wayfarers •

We offer two different styles of the classic black Wayfarer style sunglasses. Photographs cannot indicate the differences so read on for what is different about the RB00 style and the RB99 style.

Differences between the RB00 Style and the RB99 Style

The RB00 is a more lightweight plastic, a lower grade plastic that bends more easily than the RB99 style. The lens in the RB00 is a lighter grey color, full UV protection in both the RB00 and the RB99. The interior hinge in the RB00 is a plastic hinge; the hinge in the RB99 is a metal hinge. The side arms of the RB00 are more narrow than the wider RB99 arms. The lenses of the RB00 do not have the same lens coating as the RB99 and will scratch more easily over time.

Overall, the RB00 is a fine choice for party sunglasses when you don't expect the guests to use them after the party. The RB99 is a better choice if you want to impress your guests and have them use them afterward as a spare pair of their own personal sunglasses.
