We offer two different styles of the classic white Wayfarer style sunglasses. Photographs cannot indicate the differences so read on for what is different about the 1100 style and the 2200 style.
Differences between the 1100 Style and the 2200 Style
The 1100 is a more lightweight plastic, a lower grade plastic that bends more easily than the 2200 style. The lens in the 1100 is a lighter grey color, full UV protection in both the 1100 and the 2200. The interior hinge in the 1100 is a plastic hinge; the hinge in the 2200 is a metal hinge. The side arms of the 1100 are more narrow than the wider 2200 arms. The lenses of the 1100 do not have the same lens coating as the 2200 and will scratch more easily over time.
Overall, the 1100 is a fine choice for party sunglasses when you don't expect the guests to use them after the party. The 2200 is a better choice if you want to impress your guests and have them use them afterward as a spare pair of their own personal sunglasses.
